  2. Hi Bonnie. Is Brandywine your dog? You might want to start out by giving him a fish oil (omega-3 fatty acid) supplement. Here is a link to high quality fish oil supplements that I recommend for dogs: High Quality Fish Oil Supplements For Dogs

  3. The allergens here in SC are a beast! Jaxson isn’t affected, but Harley suffers. So much so, my vet gave him a CADI injection which lasts about five weeks. He was a new dog. I plan on going back even though the price per injection is ridiculously steep. It gave him instant and long lasting relief. My fingers are crossed that he will be like many of the case studies meaning that over time he will not need it but approximately 3-4 times per year. Paws crossed. That along with the omega-3 oils should keep him straight.

  4. Hi Groovy Goldendoodles. I am glad that the CADI injection (“Canine Atopic Dermatitis Immunotherapeutic” – which is now called “Cytopoint”) worked well for Harley. The CADI injections are one of the treatments for dogs with atopy that I will be discussing in my upcoming book “Dogs With Allergies: How To Stop The Itching, Scratching, and Chewing.”
